The first video shows the execution of Anne Boleyn who was the second wife of the King Henry the VII. She gave him a daughter Elisabeth who's gonna become Queen after the King's death. She was accused of infidelity. The charges against her were made by the advisors of the King who were jealous of the influence she had on the King. However the charges against her were false. She was executed on the tower of London in 1536. At her execution she told the people to pray for the King. In fact she wanted to say that the king had made a big mistake because she was innocent. She was executed in a French style with a double edged sword. She didn't have to kneel and put her head on a block this is why she had chosen this method. Also she would have time so that she could make the King change his mind because it would take a long time to the executor to come from France.

The second video shows the execution of Katherine Howard the fifth wife of the king and she was very young (17). She was accused of infidelity but unlike Anne Boleyn the charges against her were true. She saw the execution of Thomas Culpeper who was her lover and the manservant of the King. When she was executed she saw her lover's head on a stake behind the door of the Tower of London. After her lover's death she was destroyed because she was truly in love with him. The day of her execution she admitted her guilt and she told the people to obey the King. She was beheaded with an axe so she had to kneel and put her head on a block. The king was devastated because it was the second wife that he had executed.

    • The first video shows the execution of the Queen Anne Boleyn. She was the second wife of the king Henry the VIII and they got married in 1533. Later, they had a daughter called Elizabeth I, who will reign for 44 years after her father's death. Anne was accused of infidelity so the King wanted her execution. In fact, Henry the VIII was influenced by the rumours of her unfaithfulness which were spread by his advisors. Anne told him that she wanted to be executed in the french style, whith a double edged sword. It was a delaying tactic. Actually, she hoped that she would convince the King at time of her innocence but she finally died in the Tower of London, in 1536. Just before her execution she told to the present people to pray for the King.

    • The second video shows the execution of the young Queen Katherine Howard. She was the fifth wife of Henry the VIII and when they got married, she was only 20. The King who was 49, was rather older than her. He was also extremely jealous because she would made him a deceived husband owing to her beauty and her young age. The King was right because Katherine was really unfaithful. In fact Thomas Culpepper who was the manservant of Henry the VIII, was also the lover of Katherine Howard. Further to this double treason, the King decided to decapitate him. Katherine saw the scene and she burst into tears. She was also beheaded with an axe in 1542, in the Tower of London. Before beeing executed, she admited her guilt. She said that she had been justly condamn and that she deserved to die. She hoped to die soon, so that she could join his lover. She said to the present people at her execution that they ought to obey the King all the times. Finally, when the King knew Katherine's execution, he was devastated. Probably he had really loved her.

The first video shows the execution of Anne Boleyn. She was the second wife of Henry VIII. This queen was known as a pretty and smart woman. She was accused of infidelity. In fact, these charges were only rumors made by the king's advisors who didn't like the political influence she had on him. She was executed on the 19th of May 1536 in the Tower of London. Before she died, she told the people to pray for the life of the king, it meant her husband had made a big mistake and she wasn't guilty. Anne Boleyn was beheaded with a double-edged sword. She had been aware she wouldn't feel anything and she didn't have to put her head on the block. Moreover, it was a delaying method because the executioner came from France.

The second video shows the execution of Katherine Howard. She was the fifth wife of Henry VIII. She was about seventeen years old when she married him. Like Anne Boleyn before her, she was accused of betrayal and adultery. Those charges were true, the queen was unfaithful. At the beginning of the video, she saw her lover, Thomas Culpeper, being beheaded. Then she said that she hoped they kill her soon so she may join him. She told the people present at her execution she had been justly condemned and deserved to die. She also wanted them to obey the king at all times. She was beheaded with an axe. She had to kneel in front of everyone to die. In the film, the king seemed devastated. He didn't actually want to kill Katherine Howard but he had to do it to keep his authority and his credibility on the population.

The first video shows Anne Boleyn’s execution. She was Henry VIII’s second queen. The charges against her were infidelity and adultery. The king’s advisors and counsellors invented them because they had become jealous of the influence she had over his Majesty. Unfortunately, he believed these rumours and she was locked in the Tower of London where she was to be killed. She wanted to be executed in the French way. So she asked for an executioner from Saint-Omer in the north of France. This choice had been made to ensure a more dignified death ; instead of leaning over a block, she would be upright before her people. Also, one swift strike of the double-edged sword meant for a painless death. Moreover, she thought she would gain time to convince her husband to release her. But sadly, her seduction skills and influence no longer had any effect on him and in 1536, she was beheaded. Before she died, she declared to the people present that they should pray for the king’s life. This inuendo meant he had made a terrible mistake and he might be punished for it.She remained calm and serene to the end, maybe still thinking Henry VIII would change his mind.

The second video shows Catherine Howard’s execution. The difference between her and Anne Boleyn is that Catherine really commited adultery and infidelity. Thomas Culpeper, her lover, had been beheaded before her. She witnessed his murder and said she hoped they would kill her shortly so that she may join him. Legend says his head was displayed to the public at the entrance of of Traitors Gate to scare Henry VIII’s fifth wife. Before she was beheaded this queen admitted her guilt and said she deserved to die. She added with great emotion that everyone should obey the king at all times.Unlike the other beaheaded wife, she lost her nerves, cried and shouted that she didn’t want to die. But she was killed just the same and that with an axe. This tool and the block gave the message that she was a traitor.

At the end we see the king loosing his balance and falling. We can imagine he is devastated, surely because Catherine was the second woman he had assassinated.

The first video shows the execution of Anne Boleyn who was Henry VIII's second wife . She was accused of infedelity with her own brother but these charges were false , she wasn't guilty . Furthermore , a lot of historians believe that Anne's brother have been gay . However , the King's advisors thought that she had too much power over the King's decisions so they had spread those rumors . She was executed in the Tower Of London in 1536 and when she was going to die , she told the people around her to pray for the King's life which was her way to say that the Kind had made a big mistake by executing her . She was beheaded with a double-edged sword in the French style which she had chosen because the man who was going to kill her came from France . In that way , she had more time to convice the King of her innocence , furthermore it was a more dignified way to die because she would'nt have to kneel .

The second video shows Katherine Howard's execution who was a very young queen , she was the fifth wife of Henry VIII and she was accused of infedelity but the charges against her were true . She truly had a lover whose name was Thomas Culpepper who was actually the main servitor of the King . At the beginning , she had seen her lover's death so she wanted to die fast so that she could join him in heaven . She told the people present at her execution that she had been justly condemned and that she deserved to die , by saying that she admited her guilt . She was executed with an axe which meant that she had to kneel in front of everyone and she had to put her head on the block in a position of inferiority . In the film , the King looked as he was about to cry , he looked devasted . I think he was like that because he felt guitly to have killed two women , especially a woman as young as she was .

    Devoir Maison d'Anglais Européen:

The first video shows the execution of Anne Boelyn.

Anne Boelyn was the second wife of the king Henry the VIII.

Anne Boelyn was accused of infidelity by the advisors of Henry the VIII, the advisors of the king were jealous of the attention who give Henry to his wife. She had a great influence on the king.

Anne Boelyn was be headed in 1536, on the Friday, May 19th. She was executed in the tower of London.

Before she was killed, she said to the people that she wanted them to pray for the people, maybe he had done a mistake.

Anne boelyn wanted to die by a french swordsman who lived in Saint-Omer. This swordsman practised a specific style of execution, the french style.with a double-edged sword.

She has chosen the method because if she was killed in this style she wouldn't feel any pain and she had not to put her head in a block. And she has chosen this swordsman because she tried a delaying tactic. This swordsman was famous, he had a busy schedule. With this time she wanted to deny charges against her but it wasn't enough.

The second video shows the execution of Catherine Howard, she was the fifth wife of the king Henry the VIII.

Catherine Howard was accused of infidelity, but unlike as Anne Boelyn the accusation were true, she was in love with the man servant of Henry the VIII, he was called as Thomas Culpepper.

At the beginning of the video, we can see the execution of her lover, she was present at his execution, when she saw that she was devasted.

Before her head fell on the ground she told to the people that they had better to obey the king at all times.

She was be headed with an axe, because the king wanted her to kneel down and didn't want to give her more importance than a simple citizen. With this method sometimes needed more than one thump to cut heads.

In the film the king fell down when the head of catherine fell down on the floor. He looked sad, very sad.
